Taking risks and seeing potential in things normal people wouldn't even take a second glance at is what makes artists so unique and superior to the rest of the population. After Ricardo Bofill, a brilliant architect discovered a dilapidated cement factory back in 1973 something just clicked in his brain and he immediately was able to picture and predict all the great improvements he will be capable of adding to the place, and he eventually turned it into a fine piece of art.

He kept the main structure mostly intact, then proceeded to bring his vision to life. Although, La fábrica's renovation is still a work in progress mainly due to the constant changes in Bofill's vision, but we must always remember that all good things come slow and Ricardo seems like a very patient man.(h/t)
