Suffering Senior Cat Kristy Needs Help Getting to the Vet

My name is Amira Hawija and the in the picture of the cat above is Kristy! I've had my girl ever since the 3rd grade and now I am about to start my first year of college in August I grew up with Kristy, she's my childhood pet and means a lot to me. Lately, she hasn't been feeling so well she has been throwing up on the daily, even multiple a day. This has worried me and I bought her medicine from my local pet store and it seemed to work but she's started to throw up again along with the company of a strange growth on the side of her neck. Kristy has had little bumps come and go on her skin which is common for cats of her age but what is alarming about this one is how it's doubled in size within a few days and how its red, flaky, itchy, and painful.

I work many hours a week at Publix just to barely pay for my car and new upcoming classes and I've been looking around the place for reasonably priced vets and found a place! of course, the downside is that they are still expensive and relatively far away from my home.If it is what must be done for Kristy I will schedule a day off of work to drive her to the vet's office to see what is going on with her. I do not know what her sickness is and I do not know if it's contagious or not. I have another cat named Ziggy which I have pictured above, god forbid that it is contagious I greatly fear of the sickness spreading to Ziggy and more stress on the family. Kristy and Ziggy have been with each other for many years and are brother and sister, they always cuddle and play around.

If worse comes to worse and it is something that is life threatening I want to take Kristy to the vet as soon as possible! Everyone including Ziggy would miss her and I wouldn't want my cat to fall victim to depression (cats can get it too) from the loss of his beloved sister. Kristy growing up had a sassy queen of the house attitude and that is one of the many reasons we love her so dearly! She was a very playful social cat that loved to be in everybody's faces at all times even when she annoyed us we love her.

Kristy is the household's best friend and is very friendly towards everybody. Long story short is that I am terrified of the unknown and I have no clue what might happen to her if I leave her untreated. I put the fundraiser goal to two thousand dollars because we just don't know. Hopefully, it is an easy fix and Kristy can go back to feeling normal again. In this scenario, I will use all the extra funds to donate to many others who have animals in the same position as my own and provide relief for pet owners and I will email the page with receipts. On the other hand, if it is a serious complex problem that requires a lot of time funds and energy I will continue to fundraise and provide for Kristy to the best of my abilities. The reason why I want your page to share my go fund me link is because you will provide me with as much exposure as I possibly can. Even if nobody donates the only thing that I am able to really ask for is shares and support through Kristy’s illness.
