The Suburban Home From Harry Potter Is Now Up For Sale

by Ezra Zydan

If you happen to be a Potterhead (you know, read the novels, watched the films, collected the memorabilia), then you'll be absolutely excited to know that the house used in the Harry Potter anthology is up for sale. If you've ever been to England, Berkshire specifically, then you'll know that the real life abode isn't anything to sneeze at.

You all remember Privet Drive, yes?

It was the place where the Dursleys kept residence during the filming of the 'Harry Potter' anthology. It's where Potter stayed during the Summers when he wasn't in school!

Check out Ms. Fiona Shaw, who played Aunt Petunia in the Harry Potter series, outside the famous home.

You can also tour the home now.

If you recall, Aunt Petunia had a fondness for colours like peach and salmon (because they were a far cry from anything magical), but those colours are long gone.

You remember the old cupboard, where Harry originally was forced to live?

It's been renovated for use of a pet.

Everything about this home is spectacular, and it's on the market currently for a rather modest £475,000 or $617,000 USD.

via:OldieSoulSteampunk8x The house might be small, but being a Harry Potter fan myself, I would absolutely love to live in it! Why did they have to go ahead and renovate the kitchen? It might have sold for more if it was even more authentic to its condition during the Harry Potter filming. Anyway, whoever ends up living there should really take a look at these Halloween wreaths for their front door.
