Jealousy is a big part of most relationships and while we all like to pretend that we aren't jealous, I believe everyone in a relationship has felt a bit jealous at some point. Jealousy doesn't just appear in relationships it's something we see all the time, between siblings or coworkers.

When we are jealous, we're usually jealous of other people for some reason, maybe they just seem to be living a much easier or you see someone treated better at your workplace. Something we don't see too often though, is when a person is jealous of an animal, in this case, a cat.

I'm aware of how weird that sounds, but it appears that's what's happening in this story shared by Reddit user u/homeinhell. According to OP, she has a cat named Teddy Bear, and Teddy Bear is a big fan of cuddles and kisses.

Teddy Bear will also kiss you back if you kiss him which is one of the most adorable things I could imagine a kitty cat doing. Judging the story so far, it's hard to imagine that anyone could have a problem with this cat being cuddly and adorable.

Regardless, after a few months of dating her boyfriend brought up that he's not OK with Teddy Bear kissing his girlfriend. While the boyfriend might never admit it, it's hard to say that this is anything except that the boyfriend is jealous of the cat.

He asked her to spank him every time the cat tried to go for a kiss to make him stop it, and that's when OP decided to share this with the people of Reddit to get some advice on what to do. OP really couldn't see the issue in all of this but regardless of that she posted it to Reddit so she could see what people had to say.

Her cat, Teddy Bear, has an adorable habit of kissing you back when you kiss him but sometimes he'll kiss her lips which isn't a fun experience.

OP didn't really like the kisses on her lips so she tries to avoid them every time, but her boyfriend said that's not enough and how the cat should be spanked in order to stop doing it.
