Tanchanok wanted to share the love and joy she felt with the corgis.
Having a dozen of them made the cafe idea more possible. Her reluctant idea paid off quickly as her customers quickly fell in love with the energetic bunch.
Who wouldn't love this corgi welcoming committee?
The original five dogs Porkchop, Pumpkin, Salmon, Bean, Babycorn and all their pups are loving the endless attention!
Don't worry, the Dynamic Dozen are all trained by a professional to make sure they are protected around humans. Their training is paying off big time since they receive treats from the customers after performing the tricks they've mastered.
Their diets are still carefully monitored and the owner is making sure they are not being overfed by their guests.
The pups actually get their daily required exercise at the attached garden within the premises
The dogs are free to run around the garden three times a day to burn all those extra treats they receive. They are such role models!
The Corgi In The Garden is open from Mondays thru Fridays from 12 noon to 6 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays, they are open from 10 in the morning to 6 PM.
How often do the dozen corgis work? They are at the cafe every day but they are only scheduled to meet 50 guests for three hours in total every day.
Their "fan meet" has an hour interval in between to allow the pups to rest
The cafe is not accepting reservations and the pup meet is on a first come, first serve basis
There is also an $11 fee if you wish to be friends with the famous corgis
It's absolutely worth it isn't it?
The Corgis in the cafe are of the Pembroke Welsh breed
They are the kind of Corgis favored by the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II
Tanchanok assures their patrons and dog lovers alike that their first priority is and will always be the welfare of their dogs
They may be famous and people do line up to meet them but they are still dogs who need time to be their playful and cuddly selves
They do look like they have figured out how to balance their personal lives and busy careers!
If you ever find yourself visiting Thailand, make sure to stop by the Corgi In The Garden. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that will be worth the trip.
After all, it's not every day that you will get the opportunity to meet a dozen happy Corgis all at once. It surely takes a regular coffee run into an unforgettable memory.
