"There are enough poor buildings out there; we don’t need to keep 'inventing' more of them just to try and be 'original.'"
People make mistakes, and some of these errors occur at work. In most cases, the mistake is made, and everything is quickly forgotten.
However, if an architect makes a mistake, the "hiccup" may be far more obvious. The goal of the Facebook group "That's It, I'm Architecture Shaming - Burn It to the Ground Edition" is to expose every structure that its members feel shouldn't have been built.
Of course, if there aren't obvious drawbacks (like structural damage), much of it comes down to personal preference, generating spirited debates, which makes reading the information much more engaging. Architecture today suffers from a lack of authenticity, according to Dr. Esther Perel, a renowned couples therapist. She emphasizes that "the challenge lies in balancing creativity with the needs of the people who inhabit these spaces."
She added that architects should prioritize user experience over mere aesthetic innovation, stating that "true design should resonate with the human experience."
"We must remember that buildings are not just structures; they are environments that shape our lives."

There are already too many poor structures built; we don't need to keep "inventing" more of them to appear "original." Architects have the ability to significantly improve our quality of life.
The new structures and public areas should safeguard and accommodate society rather than confuse it. Don't you think so? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
