Man's Life Gets Completely Transformed After His Barber Urged Him To Grow A Beard
Beards can be great assets to men, even if they get a bit itchy now and then.
Men without their beards are like women without their makeup on. Just as makeup makes women feel beautiful and confident, a beard helps men feel more mature and self-assured.
We are obviously talking about the men who love their beards, but there are some men out there who prefer being clean-shaven. Truth be told, it can be much nicer to kiss a man without a beard.
I know some of you are cursing me now, but we all have our own opinions on whether men should grow a beard or not. It's one of those situations where there's a 50/50 chance that the beard will suit the man and become a part of him, or it will just not work.
But for Gwilym Pugh, it worked out perfectly! He is a 21-year-old businessman who works from the comfort of his home, and it ended up making him gain a lot of weight. So much so that his barber advised him to grow a beard to feel better.
“At that time, I was pretty overweight, working 12 hours a day, plagued with injuries that meant I couldn’t train at all,” Gwilym told Wales Online. “The business was doing okay, but I decided I needed to get my life in order and wanted to get healthy again.”
Gwilym was part of a band, and when he started to grow his beard, he decided to go a bit further and include some healthy eating. However, in order for him to lose weight, he knew he had to stop sitting for 12 hours a day in front of his computer.
“It was the best thing for my health as I stopped sitting for nine to ten hours a day,” he said after losing about 90 pounds in five years.
WalesonlineWhen he lost most of his weight, he started an Instagram account to document his story.
InstagramDoesn't he look fantastic? Nathan Palmer, a Welsh tailor, also thought so when he came across Gwilym's Instagram account.
