This technological advance has actually provided new tools for people to bring their visions to life. It has not limited art but expanded it.

Now, creative individuals who may not be skilled with brush and paint can produce works of art. Hidreley Diao from Brazil is one of those artists.

With the help of AI, he recreates famous cartoon characters as photos of real people. They are so lifelike that you simply can't believe they are based on cartoons.

Hidreley says, “I am fascinated by music, movies, and sitcoms. I'm passionate about social media and can't live without the internet, especially for all the cute dog and cat pictures out there. I wish the day had about 40 hours so I could do everything I want.”

We are showcasing some of his most interesting recreations, and we know you are going to love them. So, are you ready to meet Mr. Burns and Maggie from The Simpsons?

When asked about his inspiration, the artist said:

When I’m bored, I usually like to play around with several different AI software programs. Most of the time, I choose some cartoon characters (the more challenging, the better), and I recreate them as modern-day humans! When it comes to editing one image from this exact series, it takes me an average of two and a half hours. However, it's worth noting that a lot also depends on the character I'm working on! Some are easier, while others are harder, so it's pretty situational if you ask me.

So, did you enjoy these recreations? Diao usually uses Photoshop and the FaceApp application.

He always starts with the eyes because he believes they convey the most. As for his favorite character, it is Mo from The Simpsons.

We really enjoyed his work, and we hope to see more of it very soon.
