Disney characters are unique. Each of them possesses personal traits and styles that make them memorable, which is why we fell in love with Disney movies.

What would the movies be like if the characters were different? An artist named Alex Pick sought to find out by creating a series of wonderful mashup illustrations in which he reimagined animals as humans and vice versa.

Alex calls this series "Disney humanimals," and the name is quite self-explanatory. "I have had the idea for a long time to transform animals into humans and also the other way around!"

"I enjoy these switched roles and those kinds of mashups," he told reporters. His Instagram account, apiccolodraws, already has 113k followers and features more entertaining mashups of Disney and Harry Potter characters.

"I have always been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil! I never wanted to do anything else! As a kid, I dreamed of working for Disney and seeing my name on the screen or in the cinema credits of movies! Since 2000, I’ve been working as a designer for a German animation studio! In my free time, I create a lot of fan art," the artist shared about his background in illustration.

His favorite Disney films are some of the classic 2D animated ones like The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmatians, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast. There are so many! But I also love the 3D films like Tangled, Moana, and Frozen!

"I saw a few of these from other artists and thought I wanted to do my own take on the Disney HUMANIMALS! I had that in mind for a very long time! And it's so much fun!" Alex also shared what he plans to do next. "There are so many on my list: for example, I’ve started with Robin Hood. In the future, I will include characters from Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, Zootopia, and many, many more," Alex discussed his inspiration.
