It takes a lot of imagination and effort to come up with the right terrible joke and twist it into something that isn't quite so silly. That's why we'd like you to check out the excellent recent comics by the artist of "My Gums Are Bleeding."

The artist depicts their beliefs in their webcomics in a surprisingly funny and satirical way. When questioned about some of the influences that may have aided in the discovery and development of their art style, the creator replied:

"There’s a very specific style that has sort of been cultivated on places like Reddit and Instagram; people are more attracted to certain color palettes, minimalist shapes, and designs. So my style is sort of a result of trying to nail a formula that gets the most eyes on my work."

The artist was asked how long it takes them to complete their comics, as creating art in any form takes a lot of time, both to practice and to produce. He replied:

"Obviously, it depends, but not that long. I used to make about five comics a week but moved to only making about one to two a week to preserve quality. The art is relatively easy compared to trying to come up with jokes; that’s definitely the hard part. Honestly, now I’ll only spend the time drawing and editing a comic if the joke really resonates with me."
