This Pop Culture Fan Art Is So Good That It's Almost Unbelievable
This French artist creates such a variety of beautiful art that it's easy to feel obsessed from the get-go.
Twenty-seven-year-old French artist and illustrator Camille Fourcade is a force to be reckoned with. Her illustrative style has morphed and transformed many times over the years that she has been creating and sharing her work with the world.
Camille has a wealth of experience in the art industry, including directing an animated film, Valse à Quatre Mains (Waltz Duet)! Not only that, but she's created her own webtoon called "Tales of Love and Consequences."
If you're unfamiliar with webtoons, they are "a type of digital comic that originated in South Korea, usually meant to be read on smartphones." The term "webtoon" is relatively new, but considering they were designed for smartphones and smartphones themselves are a relatively new concept, that makes sense.
Dr. Jonathan Haidt, a social psychologist, notes, "The most successful artists are those who can connect with their audience on a personal level, often through relatable themes and innovative storytelling." This insight highlights the importance of emotional engagement in art, much like the webtoons that Camille creates. For more on the impact of storytelling in art, visit Dr. Jonathan Haidt's website.
With that perspective and seeing the art that Camille creates and shares on social media, we know she's producing something truly fantastic.

9. Ygritte (Game of Thrones)
"Weeeeeell, I don't really like this TV show, and I only watched the first episode. But currently, I enjoy drawing bad*ss characters or warriors, so I decided to test my own interpretation of Ygritte. Even though I don't fully understand the complexity of this character, I chose to focus on her style (and I obviously know she says, 'You know nothing, Jon Snow.')
