Horrible Manager Tries To Fire Mom While Her Son Is On Life Support
Unbelievable stuff.
There truly are some bad people in the world. You try to ignore the negativity in your life and live positively, but every now and then, you encounter someone who makes you wonder, "Why are you like this?" This story is about one of those individuals.
If this doesn't make you mad, then I don't know what will. Essentially, this mother informed her boss with 48 hours' notice that she wouldn't be able to make a shift because her son is "still on life support." It appears that the child has been experiencing ongoing health issues that are clearly very serious.
What ensues from here is purely cruel. Read on.
1. It seems as though Crystal, the mother, handles herself professionally and gracefully throughout this whole experience. The same cannot be said for the manager, Dawn.
2. She goes on to attempt to tell Crystal that she is quitting, not being fired.
3. What an uncaring, horrible woman.

Luckily, the internet quickly responded after Crystal posted this to her Facebook, and the post went viral. The company was notified promptly, and they took immediate action.

We investigated and found that the situation was handled improperly and without the compassion that we value as a company. We have also reaffirmed to our employee that she will be able to take all the time off that she needs during this difficult period. We’d like to thank the public for their concern.""Folk Oil Company"Excellent result! The woman has been fired and refused to comment when approached by local news sources. Good riddance!
