Mortal Kombat was originally developed by Midway Games in 1992 but has certainly transcended the realm of video games, with more than one major motion picture production in the last two decades. It's fairly easy to understand how and why the franchise has so many fans! This is something Mortal Kombat has in common with Disney, and Richman saw an untapped opportunity to combine these worlds into some seriously incredible art.
