The Scarlet Witch can curse us any day, any time, and we'll applaud her for it.
We're now in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and fans have been going into a frenzy over the recent additions to the films and series that have made the franchise so well-loved. The movies that followed Avengers: Endgame were meant to fill in the gaps that left people with more questions when that particular era ended—What happens to Wanda? To Hawkeye? How will The Falcon cope with his new responsibility? And what happens to Bucky?
These questions were answered in the form of WandaVision, Hawkeye, The Falcon, and the Winter Soldier, as well as in the Spider-Man films. That's just what the MCU has done to us; we could never get enough, so they keep delivering to quench our thirst!
Fans were brought into emotional turmoil when WandaVision was released. The storyline was so well executed, especially with the humor embedded in it, but the ending was so heartbreaking that fans just had to know what happens next—and so that's what they did!
At the end of the WV series, the post-credits scene shows Wanda slowly embracing her identity as the Scarlet Witch. Now, in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, even though the title features another hero, fans flocked to theaters in hopes of having their questions about the Scarlet Witch answered. And sure enough, they seemed to leave the movie theaters fawning over Wanda Maximoff even more—even if she was... well, kind of terrifying in the movie.
