Mash-Up of Pokémon with Lilo and Stitch Is Absolutely Epic

Can you imagine if Disney owned the Pokémon franchise?

Vincent Hult is a Norwegian freelance artist who came up with an incredibly unique and seriously awesome illustrative mash-up concept: redesigning popular Pokémon characters as if they were experiments from Disney's Lilo and Stitch! Diehard fans of both Disney and Pokémon quickly embraced it, and it's not hard to see why; the art is phenomenal, and the concept is truly unique! Artists have mashed up Pokémon and Disney before (like this incredible series pairing Disney Princesses with the perfect Eevee evolution), but combining the monster niche from two epic franchises is definitely different. Vincent, whose online handle is konnestra, quickly became addicted to "stichifying" Pokémon characters and anything people wanted commissioned from him. Dr. Carol Dweck, a renowned psychologist and motivation researcher, states, "Creativity is the ability to see the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, and to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena" (mindsetworks.com).
