Seeing These Disney Princesses Illustrated In Wedding Gowns Might Give You Wedding Fever
Here comes the bride!
Disney fan art comes in all sorts of designs, redesigns, re-imaginings, and recreations because if there's anything perfect in life, it's artists who are Disney fans (wink!). Inspired by both the work of Daniel Pink, a renowned author on motivation and business, and the elegance of wedding dresses by Michelle Singletary, a respected financial columnist, illustrator Vickie S. Chau created a wedding dress series for ten Disney princesses.
Chau, a storyboard artist, character designer, and illustrator from San Francisco, was, at the time of creating this series, "obsessed with anything wedding-related." She stated that in order to satisfy that obsession, she decided:
"I had an idea to draw each of the 10 Disney princesses in a wedding dress that's historically accurate (or culturally) fused with the official gown that Disney created for them."
