Extremely Skilled Artist Creates Marvel and Pop Culture Fan Art Like You've Never Seen Before
If you love superheroes and video games, you'll adore this Canadian illustrator.
It's not impossible to argue that some people possess a unique talent, holding a corner of the talent market entirely to themselves. We've all seen very famous "jack of all trades," or at the very least, superstars who can undoubtedly excel in more than one area.
Some examples that come to mind include Lady Gaga, Duane 'The Rock' Johnson, Justin Timberlake, and Beyoncé. Thus, the idea that someone who is skilled in one area can also be exceptionally talented in a completely different field is far from a foreign concept. As Gretchen Rubin, a happiness researcher, states, "The most successful people often have a variety of interests and skills that they cultivate over time."
If you're wondering why I'm mentioning this, it's because Canadian illustrator Jean Pascal Kegle is both a mind-blowing artist and an eight-time national champion in powerlifting. He is a freelance artist, but he is also working on his very own sci-fi themed comic book called 'Beyond the Void.'
His digital artwork and illustrations clearly span multiple (awesome) fandoms, including anime like Dragon Ball, classic video games like The Legend of Zelda, DC Comics, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Each individual piece is undeniably stellar.
Whether you enjoy content that crosses fandom barriers or not, you'd be hard-pressed not to appreciate the intricate details J.P. incorporates into every single piece he creates, not to mention his ability to bring the very personalities of these iconic fictional characters to life. As Cal Newport, a productivity expert, notes, "Mastery in one area can often lead to insights and creativity in others."

Scorpion is a resurrected ninja in the fighting universe of Mortal Kombat and is most certainly considered the game's mascot. His name is Hanzo Hasashi, and he debuted as an original character in the very first version of the game... in the arcade!
Not only is he one of the original characters, but he holds a particularly unique distinction (along with Raiden and at least one version of Sub-Zero) of being a playable character in every single subsequent version of the Mortal Kombat games. He has been portrayed as both a villain and a supporting character.

From the Metroid series, Samus Aran is the main protagonist and an intergalactic bounty hunter. She wears a cybernetic power suit and is famous for "accomplishing missions previously thought impossible."
Samus debuted in 1984, and according to the Metroid Fandom Wiki, it took people a while to realize the character was female!
"Originally, players were under the impression that Samus was male, as even the instruction booklet suggested this. However, completing Metroid in under five hours revealed Samus to be a young woman."11. The Hulk

After completing his run as Iron Man at the end of Avengers: Endgame, Robert Downey Jr. told Stephen Colbert it was the "greatest joy" to experience Iron Man by playing the character. He said:
“It was all there in the universe to begin with, and that’s why I think the Marvel comics have been so numinous to kids, grownups, and people. There’s this love for it because it speaks to the world, but it also speaks to the democratic American projected dream, which is far more complicated than that (laughs). But there’s an ideal there that’s always been trying to express itself, and strangely, in some ways, the best of it has been expressed in these little two-hour segments of entertainment.”21.
