Exceptionally Skilled Seamstress Is Re-Creating Gowns From Disney Princesses, Barbies, And Other Pop Culture Icons
This incredibly talented artist is on her way to taking over the internet with her amazing sewing skills.
Online, Rosie Somerville is known as the seamstress and cosplay artist extraordinaire Valentine Moon. On Instagram, she has almost 150k followers, which is impressive. However, on TikTok, she boasts 2.1 million followers, where her seamstress skills in re-creating pop culture gowns are practically unprecedented.

In an interview with Bored Panda, Rosie said:

"I have always loved sewing, but I only really started making princess dresses at the beginning of lockdown a year and a half ago, which is when I created my TikTok account. This led me to my decision to explore costume design, and I have always loved Disney, so it seemed like a natural progression for me. I was really inspired by @designerdaddy and other creators, as well as YouTube, which has taught me everything I know. I am honestly just trying to create what I love and bring a smile to someone’s face by bringing a childhood cartoon or character to life. I hope this makes sense."
