Disney Characters Get a Killer Steampunk Makeover Thanks to This Talented Artist
Disney going steampunk is incredibly cool.
If you're unfamiliar with steampunk, it is "a genre of science fiction that has a historical setting and typically features steam-powered machinery rather than advanced technology." If you've seen Will Smith in 1999's Wild, Wild West, then you've at least had a glimpse of the concept going mainstream.
A lot of cosplay artists love to creatively add a steampunk twist to characters, and this Australian illustrator has taken things up a notch by creating an entire series of Disney characters reimagined as part of the steampunk genre. "Creativity often flourishes when we blend different styles and genres," says James Clear, author and speaker. Her art style is definitely her own.
