Disney Fan Creates Undeniably Stunning Portraits Of Beloved Disney Characters
This German artist's Disney fan art is truly something to behold.
Hailing from Germany, Jenny Lehmann has been creating art for over a decade and sharing it with the world via DeviantArt. A subsidiary of the Israeli company Wix, DeviantArt is an American-based (but clearly not only Americans use it) website for sharing artwork, videography, and photography.
Lehman's page has been viewed over 302k times and is followed by nearly 7k people. Jenny says:
"Drawing and painting have always been a very important part of my life, and I hope it will be part of my job in the future, too. I started painting seriously when I was 19."
As far as tools of the trade go, Jenny says she uses Photoshop CS6 and Procreate for most of her artwork. She adds:
"For special drawing elements, I also use Corel Painter 12, SAI Paint Tool, and Flame Painter, but of course, I also doodle a lot and do traditional work with Indian ink, watercolors, pencils, and charcoal."
Under the alter ego "jennyeight," Jenny shares her artistic creations and fan art with the world, and some of it is beyond breathtaking, to say the least. Some of her earliest work notably features Disney characters, where she got a chance to celebrate some of her favorites and flex her artistic wings.
1. Rapunzel and Eugene, Tangled "As It Should Be"
"A fan piece of Disney's movie "Tangled"; I loved that movie; it's so cute.""Well, for those who know the movie, I guess I do not have to explain much, only... like it should (or would) have been if the two other hoodlums hadn't arrived."
Source2. Belle, Beauty and the Beast
"This is my version of Disney's Belle in a more human way."
Source3. Jasmine, Aladdin
"Since "Belle" has been favorited that many times, I thought for a long time about drawing the other princesses, too.""And here she is: Jasmine, princess of the Orient."

4. Pocahontas
"Ladies and gentlemen, here she is: Pocahontas.""As you can surely see, she's not wearing her traditional clothes, but the dress she's wearing when she moves to England as ambassador of her people.""I modified the dress a bit and also gave her only a few pieces of jewelry, since I think the dress contains enough details for the painting."

In her 30s, Jenny Lehmann is a German character artist who works full-time for Europa-Park. Located in Rust, Europa-Park is the largest theme park in Germany and the second most popular theme park in Europe, after Disneyland Paris.
Jenny says: "I mainly focus on digital painting, and I love to invent new worlds, stories, and especially characters."Mulan
"Like you might have seen in my Jasmine already, this is more of a "cartoonish" painting style than a realistic one. I prefer that style when drawing characters that actually are cartoonish; for example, her face does not have real human proportions, etc."

"The Beauty's Mirror," Belle, Beauty and the Beast
"Do you know the problem of old artwork in your gallery that you'd really like to delete?""Well, do you also know the problem of old artwork you cannot delete because it would be INSANE, since it has about 7000 favorites?""I don't want to say that I don't like my older artwork anymore; I'm proud of it, but honestly, I could improve myself a lot in the last two years, and still, everyone admires my Disney princesses most. (Of course, they are fan art).""That's why I thought about doing a remake of "Belle" for a long time. Not for getting favorites or more fan art watchers who just don't care about my original work, but for everyone who is interested in watching me get better."

There is also a lot of art from Jenny that is not Disney at all, but still incredibly visually stunning.

"Majora"
"While playing Majora's Mask, you get to know a lot about the mask of Majora, which obviously caused lots of trouble. Some old tribe used it for their evil sorcery until the ancient magicians sealed it. An evil soul lives in the mask and overtakes the minds of the foolish ones who wear it.""At the end of the game, you even see three states of incarnation of that soul - but you never get to know about the one who probably made it, or at least was eponymous for it. I guess they meant to make Majora some kind of male god of war, but I always saw Majora as a woman."

Elsa, Frozen
"Okay, although I told you I wouldn't do any Disney princesses in the future, I couldn't resist painting Elsa after I saw the movie Frozen.""And hey, she isn't actually a princess; she's the Snow Queen, so think of it as an early Christmas gift for everybody who likes Disney movies as much as I do."

Surely the future is limitless for an artist as skilled and talented as Jenny Lehmann. We can clearly see the heart and personality she has added to each piece she has created, whether it's Disney fan art or not.
