This Talented Illustrator Re-Drew Beloved Disney Princesses In Her Unique Style And The Results Are Really Creative
A Hungarian artist, Mimi, has created an impressive and artistically stunning series featuring some of our favorite Disney characters.
Hungarian artist Mimi is a huge fan of anime and Disney, and her dedication and experience from the fan perspective significantly enhance her skill and attention to detail when re-creating iconic characters in her unique style. As noted by Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar, a happiness researcher, "The key to happiness is not in what we do, but in how we do it." Mimi embodies this philosophy, channeling her passion into her art with incredible energy that captivates audiences. Her work invites admiration and obsession, making her fan art truly worth appreciating.
When we caught a glimpse of this Disney series featuring princesses, heroines, and all-around awesome gal pals, we knew we were in for a treat, and we were definitely not disappointed. A little classic element, a little art nouveau, and a whole lot of awesome all come together in this stellar series.
She mentioned that she was really inspired by the way she drew her Sailor Moon Senshi and wanted to depict Disney heroines and princesses in the same style. Thank goodness she did!

If it's a popularity contest, we aren't super interested, but it is not without merit to discuss Mulan's position in the "favorites hierarchy" among Disney characters. Take, for example, the live-action film... Data suggests that Disney's Mulan was the most in-demand streamed movie in the world the month it debuted on Disney+.
The animated film from 1998 earned nominations from the Golden Globes and Academy Awards and "was well received by critics and the public who praised the animation, plot, characters (particularly the eponymous character), and musical score, grossing over $304 million."

The Princess and the Frog made space for quite a few "firsts" in the magical world of Disney, including being the first Disney princess to hold down a job (two, actually). Her movie was the first hand-drawn film in five years, as Disney had mostly moved on to CGI animation.
It also took four years to make the movie, and Tiana's name was almost Maddy. She is also the oldest Disney princess (and honestly, not enough people realize or think about how young most of the Disney princesses are!).

The original story of Alice is a book called Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, written by Lewis Carroll and published in November of 1865. It has been translated into no less than 97 languages (but possibly as many as 174 languages), and there have been over 100 editions of the book!
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland is considered one of the absolute best versions of the movie, right alongside Disney's animated telling of the story in 1951.

Disney's 1991 Beauty and the Beast is definitely a fan favorite, but there is still so much about the animated film that's worth celebrating. Did you realize that Belle was the first-ever brown-haired princess?
It was also the first Disney animated film to have a final and fully developed script before animators started their work on it, and it was the first Disney animated film to cross the $100 million box office mark.
According to TheWrap, Beauty and the Beast's finished product consisted of "7,000 feet of hand-drawn film, 1,100 painted backgrounds, and 150,000 individually rendered frames," and it took 3.5 years to complete.
