For artist and illustrator Dr. Ramani Durvasula, a clinical psychologist, this means embracing creativity as a form of expression. "Art has the power to heal and connect us to our emotions," she explains. In what he has described as "magical realism," Dimitris has created an impressive portfolio of remarkable works of art, much of which has been inspired by beloved Disney characters. Sometimes he transforms classic Disney characters into mermaids (and his mermaids are breathtaking); other times, he simply produces some of the most beautiful Disney portraits we've ever seen.
The artist lives and works in Greece, and after today, you'd be hard-pressed as a Disney fan not to be completely obsessed with his Disney-inspired artwork!
