This Tumblr Post Tearing Down The Vegan Argument Is Turning Heads
Still think everyone should be vegan? Read this.
According to The Vegan Society, veganism is a way of living that seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of and cruelty to animals for food, clothing, or any other purpose. Many believe that there have always, at least to some degree, been vegan individuals or people living according to vegan values. On an individual basis, it is a personal decision that works for those who happily choose it. The great debate surrounding this lifestyle revolves around whether or not everyone should or even can be vegan. Many animal rights activists and loud & proud vegans insist that being vegan is the only acceptable way to live, and some of them present some pretty strong arguments.
Nevertheless, statistics suggest that only 0.5-1% of Americans and Europeans are vegan, so it's safe to say that convincing the rest of the world that they, too, need to be vegan is an uphill battle.
This uphill battle will be particularly tough when Tumblr gets involved. That's right; you might think that Tumblr would be a haven for vegans, but it is precisely the place where users have come together to debunk the assertion that everyone can and should be vegan, and their thorough, logical arguments have been taking the internet by storm ever since. You have to read it for yourself!
The Debate Begins.

But Wait, There's More.
Why doesn't anyone think of the rabbits?

No, Seriously...
This rabbit conundrum does not seem to align well with a vegan lifestyle.

Never Say Never?
Well, maybe when it comes to insisting that you live completely cruelty-free.
