She referred to him as "Bob" in her story to protect his identity. However, things took an unexpected turn when Bob and his entire family started calling her "Jessica" instead.
At one point, his grandparents even asked her, “Can we just call you ‘Jessica?’ That would be easier at this point.”
She said, “I had to awkwardly be like, ‘No, I will not respond to that because that’s not my name.'”
This made Burke suspicious that Bob was cheating on her. To make matters worse, he had a locket with a picture inside that he would not let her see.
Consequently, Burke's breakup story stands out from the rest due to its unique and confusing circumstances.
Burke explained, “He had a dead ex-girlfriend named Jessica who looked just like me… he just started dating me to cope with the fact that she was dead.”
She recounted odd tales from the relationship, such as him telling Burke he had purchased flowers for her, only to later put them on Jessica's grave.

She ended the relationship with him over a Zoom call after he had stabbed himself. Despite this, he was alright and even attempted to mend his wound by citing his experience in Cub Scouts.
