If You're Having A Tough Day, 'We Rate Dogs' Might Just Cure Your Ailments

Are you bored with everyday social media? Does looking at news stories and peoples pointless bitter arguments make you feel a little tired? Well, prepare to break that cycle and lay your eyes upon the Twitter account serving up cute pups and laughs daily!

Twitter user @dog_rates (aka WeRateDogs™) posts adorably funny photos of dogs big and small and tales of their daily adventures, all while rating them out of ten. The account is actually super popular and might just be what you need to bring that smile back to your daily dose of internet surfing.

Check it out!

You'll see just by those examples that the dogs are rated above the rating of ten. Others noticed too and decided to find out why! It's pretty simple really...

And it's super easy to get your pooch featured on the page, just submit your photo and keep your fingers crossed that it's chosen. Make sure you only send photos of your dog though! It seems as though some people have been a bit confused.

And if you were wondering how popular a page like this could really be, they're even releasing a book! So now you and your friends can see those good h*ckin' boys whenever you want!

And the guy behind the page seems super happy!

The creator of WeRateDogs™ is one guy, known as Matt Nelson, and he chose to start the account after seeing that any post he made about dogs on his personal account got a lot more likes than anything else he shared on Twitter. He told Esquire that any dog related tweet "Would get more favorites than it definitely should have."

In Fact, his first ever tweet from the WeRateDogs™ account has gathered over 2500 favorites!

As you can see, with this post having over 132,000 favorites the account has grown quite significantly!

Nelson created the account with two main goals; to provide people some relief from some of the vicious news cycles on the internet, but also to achieve internet success.

He certainly got that!

But with great fame comes great PG responsibility, and though the account has done what he aimed to do, Nelson says "WeRateDogs has become a little bit less fun now because I feel restricted as to what I can say." One of the hazards of the job, unfortunately!

But nothing will stop this page while it's on such a roll!

What a bunch of good boys! There are people who love dogs, and then there are people who LOVE dogs. Meet Aaron Franks, a Pennsylvanian man who has spent the last two years building his dogs the play house of their dreams, all to show them how much he loves them.
