10+ Cinematic Mistakes We Somehow Missed In Some Of Our Favorite Movies
We won't make that mistake again.
Movie mistakes are part of the fun, especially when a film is so familiar that even tiny details start to stand out. From costume changes to continuity slips, some of the most memorable scenes in Hollywood still hide little blunders.
This roundup looks at a bunch of popular movies that slipped a few errors past the final cut. The films are still beloved, but once you notice these details, it is hard to unsee them.
Some of these mistakes are subtle, some are obvious, and a few are surprisingly funny. Read on.
1. Titanic
Do you recall the scene where the researchers discover the famous cruise ship that sank and open the safe in one of the rooms at the beginning of the film? They find a painting of a girl wearing a diamond necklace that resembles the "Heart of the Ocean" there.
Do you notice the difference between the portraits?

Belle does not wear a hat throughout the film. However, the film's writers forgot that in the past, only women who disobeyed societal rules walked like this.
All of the other female characters in the film wear headscarves, which is normal for the period. And the women in the rest stop where Gaston and Defou partied didn't have anything on their heads.
Perhaps there was a reason Belle was dubbed "strange"? This social norm was still very much alive when the story was published in 1740.

3. The Twilight Saga: New Moon
Edward's skin gleams in direct sunlight, as we all recall. However, for whatever reason, this rule does not apply to Alice (another Cullen family member).
She walks in the middle of the day, despite wearing gloves and sunglasses, and she doesn't shine. On the exposed regions of her skin, there is plenty of light.

4. The Island
The main protagonists are trying to escape from a lab where clones are being created. They are washed with water, crawl into vent shafts, and ascend rusted ladders on their journey.
However, their garments are completely white when they are on the surface. Then, the main characters' clothes suddenly become dirty when they arrive in the nearest town.

5. The Martian
Mark Watney remains alone on Mars and discovers a Pathfinder transmitter that hasn't worked since 1997, which he uses to send a signal to Earth. How might a botanist connect a 40-year-old instrument to modern wires?
Take a look at the photo: all of the connectors are perfectly aligned.

6. Home Alone
Kevin is seen putting a red jug with detergent into his basket in the first frame. However, we notice that he does not have such a container when his bags tear on the way home.
Later, at home, he uses the same red container. Also, notice how easily the young boy carries the shopping bags.
They appear to be quite light. However, each container should weigh at least 3 pounds!

7. Alice in Wonderland
A pendant on a short chain disappears from Alice's neck when she falls down the rabbit hole. It's still there when she glances down in the photo, but it's gone a few seconds later.
And it occurred before she grew in size! So, it didn't just fall off when her neck became huge.

8. Passengers
When Jim meets Aurora, he informs her that because he is not a "platinum class" passenger, his dining options on the cruise are limited. But we have to wonder how he was able to eat at high-end restaurants and make use of all the other amenities available to wealthy space explorers.
The robots were supposed to immediately inform him that he lacked the financial means to pay for such enjoyment.

9. Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams
The film begins with Carmen and Juni's escapades in an amusement park. The man in the first shot claims that certain guests may vomit at great rates, covers himself with an umbrella to demonstrate this, and then someone's vomit lands on him several seconds later.
When they move, however, we notice that all of the cubicles are sealed with a glass dome.

When Bethany is on the phone, the cup of coffee next to her starts behaving strangely. Its handle appears in a variety of locations in different photos.

Mary, enraged, throws her drink into Sherlock's face. The hair adjacent to his forehead is dry at first, then damp after a few seconds.
On his cheek, the position of the droplets and water stains is different.

Viewers throw flowers to the passing chariots during the Tribute Parade. When the chariots arrive at President Snow's balcony, however, it is evident that the road they traveled was spotless.

Bread
When Gale offers Katniss bread, she begins to eat it as if she's never seen bread before, even questioning whether it's real. However, there was a bakery in District 12. Peeta worked at the bakery with his parents and learned to paint on cakes, which helped him develop his disguise.

One of the most popular and enjoyable pastimes is watching movies. It is well known that making a film involves a significant amount of time and money.
However, it appears that even the most engaging and well-received films can have problems. That's because of a simple rule: bigger movies involve larger teams, and that introduces more opportunities to make mistakes.
