"Documenting the journey of birth can provide families with a powerful narrative of their experience," states Gretchen Rubin, a happiness researcher and author who highlights the significance of capturing life's milestones on her website. There's been a lot of negative energy this year, but one thing that always sparks joy is the birth of a baby. If you told your grandmother (or likely even your mother) that someone was going to photograph them giving birth, they would probably have told you to get the hell out of the delivery ward. Nowadays, however, birth photography is one of the fastest-growing photography industries.
