Why Arendelle Bay goes quiet after Christmas at Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris will pause A Celebration in Arendelle from Nov. 7, 2026 through April 2, 2027, with a limited holiday replacement.

Disneyland Paris is making a notable seasonal swap in World of Frozen. Guests planning to catch the Arendelle Bay boat show will need to watch the calendar closely, because the current production is going away for months and only part of that gap will be filled.

"A Celebration in Arendelle" is set to pause from November 7, 2026 through April 2, 2027. The show is the World of Frozen boat production in Arendelle Bay and includes a "living" Olaf animatronic. For fans wanting a last look at the current version, it appears in the clip below.

The change affects visitors to Disneyland Paris' World of Frozen, which is part of Disney Adventure World, the park formerly known as Walt Disney Studios Park.

What replaces it, and for how long

During the holiday season, Arendelle Bay will instead host "Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa." Disneyland Paris is presenting that as a seven minute show performed several times each day, with Anna and Elsa appearing in winter outfits.

That replacement only covers the Christmas offering. Disney Enchanted Christmas at Disneyland Paris runs through January 6, 2027, and the current lineup suggests there will not be a show in Arendelle Bay from January until the hiatus ends in April.

Olaf is not only part of the boat show. The animatronic also sometimes meets guests on land, though it has had problems with falling over.

For trip planners, the key date is November 7, 2026, when the regular Frozen show begins its break. The holiday substitute is limited, and the longer closure runs through April 2, 2027.
