For Hollywood, Harrison Ford rose to fame quite "late." He was 35 years old when he was cast in the Star Wars Trilogy as Han Solo (1977-1983).

4. Jon Hamm (36 years old)
Jon Hamm made his television and film debuts in 2000, with appearances in The Hughleys and Space Cowboys. However, Jon Hamm's breakout role and well-deserved international recognition did not come until 2007.
It was his portrayal of Don Draper in the TV drama Mad Men that earned him numerous accolades, nominations, and positive reviews for his outstanding performance.

5. Steve Carell (43 years old)
Both of Steve Carell's breakout roles came in 2005, when he was 43 years old. These were the roles of Michael Scott, the boss on The Office, and Andy Stitzer in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, respectively.
Carell rose to fame as a result of both ventures, despite having initially appeared in films and on television in the early 1990s.

6. Tim Allen (38 years old)
Tim Allen began his career as a stand-up comedian in 1975 and continued for many years. The actor gained wider exposure and recognition when he was 38, thanks to the TV sitcom Home Improvement, which aired from 1991 to 1999.
In the 1990s, this was one of the most popular shows in the United States, and Tim received numerous accolades and nominations for his performance.

7. Melissa McCarthy (41 years old)
Melissa made her television debut in 1997 (at the age of 27) when she appeared in an episode of Jenny. She went on to star in several films and television episodes, including Charlie's Angels, White Oleander, and Pretty Ugly People.
She rose to prominence as a talented actor after appearing in the comedy Bridesmaids in 2011, for which she received an Academy Award nomination.
