If you were around in 1998, chances are you watched (and loved) the movie 'Armageddon.' It was the quintessential action-packed and somewhat predictable disaster film of the nineties.
When an asteroid the size of Texas threatened to destroy the Earth, a team of oil drillers was assembled by NASA to save the world. It was funny, it was scary, and it was also an epic love story.

Starring Ben Affleck, Bruce Willis, and Liv Tyler, the Michael Bay blockbuster remains a cult favorite today. And who can believe it's been 24 years since 'Armageddon' was released? Not me!
