We've talked before about celebrities and how their lives are much different from the average person's, including their pregnancies and other significant news announcements. Many celebrities don't necessarily want to share their big news with the world.
Celebrities have a huge following, which means all of those people are watching and observing them as they go through various life experiences, including pregnancy. Some celebrities might want to hide their pregnancies for privacy reasons or perhaps professional ones.
I think we've all probably seen a pregnancy announcement and thought, "Oh wow, I didn't even know they were pregnant," so that's exactly what we're going to be looking at. These are some of the celebrities who managed to successfully hide their pregnancies, so when they shared the birth announcements, it was genuinely a huge surprise.
Keeping things private is almost impossible when you are constantly in the spotlight, so we really don't blame these famous women and families for wanting to keep their bundle of joy a secret just for themselves. We're going to dive into some of the celebrities who hid their pregnancies and shocked all of us with birth announcements that we had no idea were coming.
1. Emmy Rossum
In May 2021, Emmy announced the birth of her daughter without ever doing a pregnancy announcement. "5.24.21. On a sunny Monday morning, at 8:13 AM, we welcomed our daughter into the world," she shared on Instagram.

Mindy welcomed her second child into the world during the pandemic. She says, "Keeping it private was easier this time because of quarantine. All of her work was done through Zoom."
