16 Pictures Of Celebrities And Their Olympian Doppelgangers
There will always be Olympians that resemble our favorite artists.
The Olympics can make an athlete very famous because of his or her exceptional performance in a sports event. Another factor that can make an athlete famous without much effort is bearing a striking resemblance to well-known celebrities.
Even before their arrival at the prestigious sports festival, some Olympians are already famous simply for resembling famous stars. As you may know, there is an Olympic archer who bears an uncanny resemblance to Leonardo DiCaprio.
When it appeared that Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio had grabbed his bow and arrow for the archery contest, social media went wild, but it turned out to be his aim-perfect twin, Brady Ellison, on the field at the Olympics. According to the Quad-City Times, the American archer doesn't even see the resemblance that has fans enthralled, but he acknowledges the extra attention his sport has received.
"I think I have got 50 pounds on the guy," Ellison said. "But I mean, it’s cool," the Olympian added.
The Olympics are already intense and captivating, with plenty of emotional scenes that would make for compelling big-screen fare. The big question is whether it is the Olympians' exceptional performances or their striking resemblance to famous celebrities that will determine who the breakout Olympians are.
