CEO Gifts Each Of Her 500+ Employees Two First-Class Tickets To Any Country Of Their Choice Along With $10,000
Several shared plans to go to Croatia, South Africa, and Bora Bora!
Everyone loves a good employment perk and benefits, but what happens when you receive something much more than that? Well, one woman has been dubbed the best employer on planet Earth after she gave each and every one of her employees a fantastic gift.
Now I’m not talking about these basic work perks; I’m talking about massive benefits, and I’m sure you already have a hint of what they are from the headline. Before we head in that direction, CNN reported that the investment management organization called Blackstone had bought a larger stake in Spanx, and this move valued the shapewear brand at an incredible $1.2 billion.
Sara Blakely, the founder and chief executive officer of Spanx, surprised all the members of her staff with two first-class tickets each to travel anywhere on the planet. In addition to that, she also gave each of them $10,000 to spend on themselves during the trip.
She did all this during a party in celebration of the new deal with Blackstone and the feat the company achieved. Blakely shared the video of the party on her social media page, and if you watch it, you'll notice when she revealed the gifts she had for her staff.
It was an emotional moment as the workers were so puzzled by the news that some of them cried, while others' jaws dropped, but it was all happiness and excitement in the air.

Some came to the conclusion that the pandemic has made financial investors warier of risks and more likely to stick with their current networks, which are typically men's clubs and more difficult for women to break into. These types of attractive actions alone probably won't tackle all of capitalism’s issues, but in addition to changing many lives, single thoughtful gestures are sometimes all we really want to start a foundational change.
