Well, one mother, Alice Velasquez, recently had enough of her teenage daughter's messy room, and she came up with a creative (and slightly evil) way to get her to pick up after herself. But obviously, the real question here is, did the plan actually work?

Well, Alice says her plan worked even better than she expected! Not only did Tahlia start doing her chores, but her siblings also offered to do extra chores to help her earn her things back faster.

She may have faced some online backlash, but she also taught her daughter a valuable lesson, which was always her intention. Great job, Alice!
