This Retired Couple Cosplay Disney Characters Together and Prove to Be Total Relationship Goals
Can you imagine growing old with someone and spending every day doing something you both love?
Steven and Millie Tani turned retirement into a full-time costume project, and the result is as charming as it sounds. After more than 30 years of marriage, the California couple has spent the last eight years making Disney-inspired cosplay together, with each new look adding to their growing collection of matching outfits.
Their hobby started through their daughter, who had been cosplaying for years, but it did not become part of Steven and Millie’s lives until they showed up at Mickey's Halloween Party in 2014 dressed as Carl and Ellie Fredricksen from Up. From there, they kept going, building costumes for conventions, Disney events, and photo sessions that celebrate everything from classic characters to newer fan favorites.
Now their story is just as much about love as it is about costumes, and their next Disney look is always the one fans want to see most.

I literally cannot get over how amazing these two are. Their love for each other and for their shared hobby is so sweet and pure. Can you imagine growing old with someone you love and discovering a hobby late in life that you enjoy together? Ugh, what an ideal way to love and live.
