30 Creepy And Unexplainable Real-Life Experiences Shared By Redditors
Life's full of mysteries, indeed.
With a world so vast, it is inevitable that people will encounter strange and creepy things at some point in their lives. No one can truly say that life is boring because, if you look closer, there are many strange and unexplainable things happening all around us—and sometimes, those chilling situations are what we experience firsthand.
It's not accurate to say that life is a never-ending boring mess, because as much as we would like to believe that this is all there is to life, there are still many things yet to be uncovered. Sometimes, people experience something so weird and bone-chilling that it seems there is no valid explanation for it; for these situations, sometimes it's better not to ask at all.
That being said, a group of people online gathered and shared their experiences when someone by the handle u/dcarp1231 posted this question: "What’s the creepiest/most unexplained thing you’ve seen in broad daylight?" in the r/AskReddit community. The thread has now gathered over 43k upvotes and almost 14k comments, where people share their creepy experiences that, to this day, they haven't been able to wrap their heads around.

Rough translation: "I was crossing at a busy intersection when I saw a perfect double of myself walking toward me. We stared at each other. It was a total mindf**k. Even more disturbing, my immediate reaction was an internal rage that a stranger somehow 'stole my face.' It was very rare."

Rough translation: "This may be explained, but the image still creeps me out to this day. It was more or less around the time when planking was in fashion. I had no idea what it was. I took a taxi to go to the city, walked around, and life was normal. But when I turned into the town square, there were about 200 people planking everywhere, and I did not know what was happening. I thought there were gunshots or a bomb—or maybe the world was ending. I asked someone next to me what was happening; they explained, we laughed, but for a brief moment, we will never forget that uneasiness we felt.

Most of these were definitely creepy and haunting that it almost makes us wonder how it would feel to experience all of them! We would probably be terrified, though!
