Artist Recreates Disney Couples With Baby Bumps and Dad Bods
You saw the happily ever after; now see these couples as they start families.
Disney couples do not usually come with diaper bags, baby bumps, or dad bods, but that is exactly the twist in this playful art project. Russian artist Oksana Paschenko, who was on maternity leave when she started the series, decided to reimagine some of the studio’s most famous pairs as modern parents.
Using her own pregnancy as inspiration, she gave the princes a softer, more realistic makeover and turned the princesses into expectant moms. The result is funny, charming, and a little too relatable for anyone who has ever wondered what a fairy tale would look like after the happily ever after.
Here are some of the best transformations from her collection.
