Italian Artists Illustrate How Disney Princesses Have Spent Their Time in Quarantine

"The idea of the princesses was born with the emergence of COVID-19. We imagined what the Disney princesses could be doing in quarantine!"

Quarantine gave people plenty of time to get creative, and Italian artists Lorenza Di Sepio and Marco Barretta turned that idea into a playful Disney project. Their illustrations imagine how some of the most famous Disney princesses might have been passing the time at home.

Known on social media as Simple&Madama, the duo created a 15-part series filled with lockdown scenes, from Rapunzel and Merida to Princess Leia. The result is a lighthearted look at what happens when fairy-tale characters are stuck inside too.
