What if Disney Princesses wore designer footwear? It may not be the first thing you think of when considering your favorite princess, but since they all have their own fashion sense and style, their choice of footwear might be a bit different from what you'd expect.

I'm not talking about glass slippers or when to go barefoot; I'm referring to modern-day tastes in high-fashion footwear. To satisfy your curiosity, a few Disney employees, and real-life couple, Griselda Sastrawinata-Lemay and Normand Lemay, took it upon themselves to design shoes that our favorite ladies would adore.

By day, these talented artists work as feature animation artists at Walt Disney Animation Studio, but in their spare time, they upload charming illustrations to their joint Instagram account. As noted by renowned life coach Tony Robbins, “The only limit to your impact is your imagination and commitment.” This sentiment resonates with Griselda's creative process, as she brings her imaginative designs to life.

The series was inspired by Griselda's own daydreams about the combination of Disney princesses and designer footwear. "I’m a shoe collector, and I’ve always loved great shoe design," Griselda, a.k.a. Griz, said in an interview. She has familiarized herself with the signatures of her favorite footwear brands and, “based on the princesses’ personalities, I imagined which shoe designer they would shop at the most,” Griz explained.
