Disney World’s hardest-to-get Lightning Lanes are disappearing before the November 1 price change
Several top Disney World Lightning Lane options are sold out this weekend, just ahead of maximum price increases on November 1.
A week before Disney World raises the maximum prices on four Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions, some of the resort’s biggest rides are already out of paid access for much of the weekend. Guests hoping to buy a shorter-wait option at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios are finding fewer choices than usual.
Which Lightning Lane options are gone this weekend
The biggest squeeze is on TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. Both attractions have no Lightning Lane Single Pass availability on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Each had been listed at $22 for Friday before selling out.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is sold out for Friday and Saturday. Its Friday Single Pass had been priced at $25, while Sunday still showed availability at the time these listings were checked.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has a different pattern. The Magic Kingdom ride is sold out on Friday and Sunday, but Saturday remains open for Single Pass purchases. Its Friday price was listed at $14.
That leaves Seven Dwarfs Mine Train as the only attraction among those sold out elsewhere that still has Single Pass availability on Saturday. Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also still available.

What it means for guests, and what changes on November 1
Saturday is shaping up as the toughest day for visitors who planned to pay for shorter waits. Along with the ride-level sellouts, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass is also under pressure. The Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios versions are both sold out for Saturday.
For Friday, the Magic Kingdom Premier Pass was still available at $399 and the Hollywood Studios version at $349. Both were also available again on Sunday. The Premier Pass includes one Lightning Lane entry at each participating attraction in a single park.
For guests visiting this weekend, the immediate impact is simple: if TRON Lightcycle / Run or Cosmic Rewind is a priority, standby is the only option through Sunday, with the next chance to buy a Single Pass not appearing until at least Monday, October 26. Disney World visitors are being urged to check the My Disney Experience app before arriving, since availability changes by day and by attraction.
The timing matters because Disney is set to increase the maximum prices of four Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions on November 1. For anyone planning a later trip, this weekend’s sellouts are an early sign that the most in-demand options may need to be booked as soon as a guest’s purchase window opens.
