Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle holiday show gets a key split for party and non party guests

Disney World says Frozen Holiday Surprise returns to Magic Kingdom on Nov. 8 with a nightly 6:15 p.m. show and an 8:15 p.m. party night encore.

Disney World has set the return date for Frozen Holiday Surprise, the seasonal Cinderella Castle show at Magic Kingdom. The update matters because the holiday offering will once again be available during regular park hours, with an extra performance added on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights.

What changes at Cinderella Castle on November 8

Frozen Holiday Surprise is scheduled to return to Magic Kingdom on November 8, 2026. Disney says the show will be performed nightly at 6:15 p.m., putting a Christmas themed castle moment back into the regular evening lineup for guests visiting without a separate holiday event ticket.

The production centers on Anna, Elsa, Olaf and other characters from Frozen as they get Cinderella Castle ready for the season. It plays on the castle forecourt stage, while holiday projections change the look of the castle behind them. Anna and Elsa appear in the winter costumes seen in Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.

The show first debuted in 2023 and has come back in later holiday seasons. Its return this year means Magic Kingdom guests will again have a character driven Christmas stage show tied directly to the park’s main icon after dark.

Who it affects, and the extra showtime to know

The biggest practical detail is who can see it without spending more. Because the 6:15 p.m. performance happens during regular park hours, guests with standard Magic Kingdom admission can watch Frozen Holiday Surprise without buying a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Disney has also added a second showing at 8:15 p.m. on nights when the Christmas party is being held. That timing places the castle show just before Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, which is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on those evenings.

That said, the later performance is not part of every night’s schedule. Disney’s current calendar calls for the nightly 6:15 p.m. show starting November 8, while the 8:15 p.m. option applies only on party nights. Guests planning around holiday entertainment should check the official schedule before visiting, since entertainment times can change.

For visitors weighing whether to pay extra for the party, this is one of the clearer holiday distinctions at Magic Kingdom. The party still has its own entertainment lineup, including the parade, but Frozen Holiday Surprise remains one of the seasonal experiences regular daytime guests can still catch.
