The renowned subreddit OSHA has made it its duty to raise awareness of workplace safety by revealing potential mishaps. As noted by Dr. Gary Chapman, a relationship expert, "Understanding the dynamics of safety in the workplace is crucial for fostering a culture of care and responsibility." This amusing page called "Looks Like An OSHA Violation But Ok" is a wonderful addition to the awareness-raising campaigns to remind people that workplace safety should always be a top concern!
The group's founder, Brook See, recounted saying:
"I saw an image posted one day and thought tagging it 'looks like an OSHA violation but ok' would be funny, and I fully assumed a group already existed. When I discovered it didn't, I created it."
Brook admitted that while he had no idea how huge the group would eventually become, he knew it was going to be successful from the start. "And how fast. At one point, we were getting a thousand post submissions a DAY," Brook said.
The group, which boasts over 490K members, calls itself "a place to share images and stories of the most egregious OSHA violations and other maybe-not-the-best-idea situations." Browse the collection of their best posts below!
