These People Host Drunken PowerPoint Presentations And It's Hilarious
Drink, talk, learn. Are you down to DTL?

Usually, a party is a place to unwind and forget about all of those 6-page paper deadlines staring at you from their respective syllabuses. But not with this crowd.
This group of friends created the concept of DTL or Drink, Talk, Learn. The rules are simple: you have to create a 3-minute PowerPoint presentation for the rest of the party and present it up front while everyone (including yourself if you choose to do so) drinks merrily. And to really make it authentic, the dress code is business casual.
Unlike your paper on microorganisms you are dreading, this presentation can be about anything you'd like to "share/inform/tell/rant" about and there is an opportunity to win prizes!
Since they started this tradition at the University of Waterloo, the practice has spread across Canada and the US. So, suit up (literally) and use the presentations below as inspiration to wow all of your friends next Thirsty Thursday.
Twitter user @Miexriir unveiled this awesome concept to the world and even nicely provided all of the official rules.

For her very first time, she was extra successful and even won Best Presentation for her extensive research on "An Exploration of Shadow the Hedgehog's True Moral Compass". Impressive!
She said she ended up learning a lot about Seattle public transit, the history of Windows start-up sounds, and fancy rats. TBH, after reading this I am considering settling in for a long Wikipedia session myself.
People really got into it, and one person even offered to help gather all the presentations into one place for the sake of all of Twitter's random education.
While others lamented not having friends who have such hilarious and creative parties.
There was even career advice!
*hurries off to create PowerPoint based on the Buttered Cat Paradox wiki page that I read today*
And would it really be the Internet if we didn't come up with even better ideas?
Keep pumping out those ideas Twittersphere. I'm taking notes.
