Parents can name their kids whatever they want. Legislation is pretty loose. Names forbidden by law include King, Queen, Jesus Christ, III, Santa Claus, Majesty, Misteri Nigger, Adolf Hitler, Messiah, @, 1069, etc.
Also, names shouldn’t have numbers in them. But the inability to use numbers doesn’t seem to stop people from coming up with the most ridiculous names. Maybe those people would be better off with names like C3PO or R2D2…
