40 Of The Dumbest Questions People Have Ever Asked
People thought they were joking, but they were actually serious. You can't make these things up.
Human beings are known to be the most intelligent creatures on Earth, or to speak in technical terms, the smartest animals in this world. Given the exponential growth of technology, it is likely that we will never be comprehensively surpassed by any other intelligent species, no matter how alien.
Intelligence is not just a matter of solving difficult problems or memorizing facts quickly, as some would have us believe, but also involves reasoning and perspective. However, it must be said that humans are not always on the right side of things—we are not always correct, but we are almost always right.
Nevertheless, there are moments in our lives that lead us to think we are, in fact, quite stupid in our own little ways (or even in larger ways, for some people). Even though we are essentially the most intelligent creatures to walk this planet, it is no secret that almost all of us are bound to make foolish mistakes, and many of them, mind you, at multiple points in our lives.
Because of that, we are also bound to ask some silly questions, too—like the ones featured on this Reddit thread after someone asked, "What’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever been asked by anyone?"
