Mom Outraged After Airline Worker Laughed At Her Five-Year-Old Daughter's Unusual Name
No adult should ever be laughing at a five-year-old, this is unacceptable.
A UK mom says a simple family trip turned upsetting fast when an airline worker allegedly mocked her five-year-old daughter's unusual name.
Traci Redford's daughter is named Abcde, pronounced "Ab-city," and the little girl has epilepsy. The family was boarding a flight home from Orange County, California, when Traci says the comments happened and left her daughter distraught.
What followed was a complaint, an apology, and a lot of attention over one very unusual name.
The mom adds that the check-in agent laughed at Abcd's name as well as they arrived at John Wayne Airport.

This also hits like the AITA fight over baby name dibs, where a sister-in-law claimed rights years ago.
Social media made the situation even messier.
She added that it took two weeks for the airline to finally issue an apology:
"We extend our sincere apology to the family. We take great pride in extending our Southwest Hospitality to all of our Customers, which includes living by the Golden Rule and treating every individual with respect, in person or online."The post is not indicative of the care, respect, and civility we expect from all of our Employees."We have followed up with the Employee involved, and while we do not disclose personnel actions publicly, we are using this as an opportunity to reinforce our policies and emphasise our expectations for all Employees," the company said in a statement.
Now the whole incident is getting judged name by name.
Wait, it gets worse, read how a friend stole the dream wedding venue, then she kept her baby name secret.
