20 Employees Share The Reasons Why They Were Rightfully Fired From Their Jobs
In Jean-Ralphio Saperstein's voice, "She's the woooooOoooorst!"
Some workplace stories end with a warning, but these ones end with a firing, and in a few cases, a story people could not wait to share. From bizarre behavior to outright bad judgment, the reasons these employees lost their jobs range from funny to flat-out unbelievable.
The list pulls together 20 people who were let go for reasons that were, in many cases, hard to defend. Some crossed a line, some made a mess, and some seemed to speed-run their own termination in the most memorable way possible. Read on.
Take this story for example:
TikTok user Kirstie G. shared the reason why she got fired from Target. She was working in the food section of their store when one coworker approached her wanting to buy breadsticks.
Instead of charging her coworker the actual price for the breadsticks, which was $1, she gave them to her colleague for the price of silly straws, which was 25 cents. Their manager caught that and asked Kirstie if she had given away free food, but she said no.
Then the manager asked if she sold the breadsticks for the price of a silly straw; Kirstie said yes and was promptly fired. Her video received a lot of attention, and people responded with why they were rightfully fired from their past jobs.

1. Colleen Ballinger, also known as her character Miranda, was fired from her job at Disneyland because she sang in her Miranda voice after being asked by her coworkers to do so. The management of the most magical place on earth told her she needed singing lessons.

Half of the things people did in this list you can't spin to make them better. Some are illegal, life-endangering, and definitely warrant immediate firing, possibly jail time.
The good thing is they know they deserved to be let go and didn't try to chalk it up to "professional differences." Good luck out there, kids; the rat race ain't fun.
Some lessons come with a pink slip.
Think Kirstie’s breadstick situation was messy, wait until you see the coworker fired for stealing lunch for weeks.
