This Online Group Aims to Expose the Ridiculousness of the Housing Market and Greedy Landlords, and Here Are 30 of the Best Posts
Some landlords deserve to be shamed.
Renters face many challenges. They often lack long-term security as they are subject to the whims of their landlords, who can choose to raise the rent, sell the property, or evict them for any reason.
Renters may be unable to make any modifications to their residence, such as painting, installing new appliances, or adding permanent fixtures. Renters are responsible for minor maintenance issues, such as changing lightbulbs and unclogging toilets, but larger problems, such as a broken heater or a leaky roof, must be addressed by the landlord.
In many areas, rent is often higher than the cost of a mortgage. Renters may find themselves unable to locate a new place to live at a reasonable price if their current landlord decides to sell.
It seems that in the near future, we might have to explore co-housing, living under bridges, or finding a tree to build a tiny home in as the housing market continues to suffer. When you look at the numbers and realize that you would have to save more than you're earning to afford anything larger than a dumpster in the coming years, it's truly concerning.
The people who are most affected by this situation are the landlords who bought all the inexpensive properties and made them much more costly for those earning minimum wage. It sounds absurd that one needs to have three jobs to make ends meet.
Fortunately, the Facebook group called "A Group Where We Pretend to Be Landlords" is poking fun at this unfortunate situation that most of us have or will experience—renting from landlords who are difficult to deal with. As you go through this list, vote for the posts that make you laugh, cry, or yell.

It is hard to find a decent and affordable place to rent these days. The housing market is severely impacted by the popularity of Airbnb, where many homeowners decide to evict tenants and rent their properties by the night.
This is so unfair and hard to understand. Namely, these accommodations are now much pricier than hotels. Why do people even use them?
