Marvel’s next F1 crossover is a Doctor Doom show car, and fans can see it in Austin this month
Williams has revealed an Avengers: Doomsday themed F1 show car. It is scheduled to debut at a Fan Zone event in Austin, Texas, October 19-24.
Disney’s Formula 1 partnership has added another Marvel twist. Atlassian Williams F1 has revealed an Avengers: Doomsday themed show car that is scheduled to make its public debut in Austin later this month.
The new car was unveiled in an Instagram post from the Atlassian Williams F1 team, and fans will be able to see it at a special Fan Zone event in Austin, Texas, running October 19 through October 24. The clip below accompanies the reveal.
For Disney and Marvel fans following the company’s growing presence in Formula 1, this is the latest addition to a collaboration that has already stretched across racing events, merchandise and character tie-ins. Disney characters have appeared at races, and Lightning McQueen has taken laps on the track. A Disney x F1 clothing line arrived through Pull&Bear last month, and Disney also released an F1-inspired LoFi music track.
Williams and Marvel have worked together before as well. Over the summer, the teams teamed up on a one-shot comic that featured Iron Man alongside Atlassian Williams F1 drivers.
The Avengers: Doomsday show car is the newest piece of that push, and for fans heading to the Austin Fan Zone, it is the key change to note. The car is set to debut there during the October 19-24 event.
