Julio Suarez has turned comic books, movies, and game characters into a colorful showcase of fan art that keeps getting attention. The artist from Mexico has built a style that blends nostalgia with sharp detail, and his recreations of familiar characters make it easy to see why people keep following his work.
He has already drawn for companies like Upper Deck Entertainment and Cryptozoic Entertainment, and after two years of freelance illustration, he is now working on his own comic book project, The Twin Blades. The fantasy story mixes science, Aztec mythology, and family bonds, which fits the kind of imagination that shows up in his art.

Julio's favorite comic book character is Spider-Man. He is the one who inspired him to start drawing in the first place.
“Even if I wanted to, I couldn't count the times I've drawn Spider-Man. I have the character in my DNA since childhood, with so many comics, games, and figures. This is not just a passion; this is already my life.
He is my ultimate goal. Everything I do, every lesson, every piece of work, every drawing, is to improve and be good enough to officially draw him one day, to draw him for the rest of my life.
Because I want that to be my job, I crave it more than anything in the world, and I will continue to give my all, every day, until I achieve it, and even after.
Spider-Man means more to me than I could express in a post. It’s not only because of the great character we read about in comics or see in his series or movies; to me, he represents a purpose in life, a goal. So thank you, Spidey, for existing and for giving me a reason to.”
